I’m a product designer with eight years of experience, including collaboration and data tools at Zoom and Shimo. Since 2023, I’ve been exploring how AI fits into work: helping people express intent, stay in control, and verify results.
My experience spans collaboration software, advertising, and real estate services. From task dependencies in spreadsheets to AI inputs and outputs, I keep returning to one question: how can complex systems become easier to understand and use?

Pygmalion fell in love with an ideal he had sculpted. As AI begins to respond to our expectations, I’m interested in how the tools we shape also change our judgment, habits, and expectations.

Looking back at my work through this question, I focus on how intent is clarified, differences are made visible, and decisions can be reconsidered.

From input-output frameworks in Shimo AI to task guidance in Zoom AI Sheets and data contracts and verification in my own tools, my focus has expanded from a single generation to how work begins, proceeds, and can be checked.

Our relationship with tools also lives in everyday product details: how a form is filled out, how tasks connect, and how a team shares design knowledge. Designing these details shapes how people understand information, act, and collaborate.

How I work
- Start with the task
I start with people’s roles, goals, and workflows, then define the problem and organize the product around it.
- Make the rules visible
I make states, permissions, dependencies, and consequences clear so people know what is happening and what they can do next.
- Carry the design through
I carry designs through prototyping, interaction specifications, and engineering collaboration. In my own projects, I also build the tools and examine how the design behaves in use.
